Satie's Back Porch Gallery
At the Caldwell Arts Council‘s back entrance, there is a small exhibition space called Satie’s Back Porch Gallery. It features shelving and very limited wall spaces that are the perfect venue for artists and craftspeople to exhibit and sell small works. Most are reasonably priced, making it a great place to buy gifts for yourself or someone special.
Now through September 17:
Lynn King (By His Grace Pottery Studio), Jim Burchett (Pelican Glass),
Terri Garrou (Quilted blocks and cards), Sherrill Keever (ceramic rattles),
and Colette Shomaker (hand-tied trout flies)
Exhibiting Artist Info
Satie's exhibitions usually run for up to three months. Small art and various fine crafts such as pottery, jewelry, textiles, etc. are welcome. With limited space, framed artwork no larger than 8"x10" will be accepted. To be considered for the jury process, please email us your contact information, along with at least 3 images of your work with descriptions and retail prices. Artists should remember that the Caldwell Arts Council will retain 30% commission for all sales, so please price work accordingly. If accepted, your notification and sales contract will be emailed to you.
As the photos indicate, our goal is to fill the space, and artists who lack sufficient inventory will be paired with others who work in different mediums. Typically two, or at the most three, artists works will be in this space.
