The piece Shrine to Road Kill was created according to Taddlock as a tribute to the kinds of animals that often fall victim to human transportation. The animals depicted on the sculpture include an opossum, a fox (or dog), a rabbit, a turtle, a snake, a crow, a frog, an alligator, and according to Tadlock, "...using a bit of poetic license, a fish."
