February 1-10 ........ Elementary student artwork (reception February 1, 3-6pm)

 

February 15-24...... Middle & High School student artwork (reception February 15, 3-6pm)

 

February 25.......... Middle School Poetry Recitation Competition at Education Center, 9am-12noon

 

March 2-30 .........“Our Neck of the Woods” – Darron Silva (photography), Nelson Brookshire (rolled paper art), Walter Stanford (paintings), Pete Lupo (art from wood)

 

April 6-27 ..........Caldwell Photography Competition “Exposures”  featuring Caldwell County photographers

 

 

April 28..............pARTy Palette fundraiser for Caldwell Arts Council

 

May 4-25 ...........“REMNANTS” - Damon Hood, Amber Watts, Mykell Gates

 

May 19................3rd Annual Festival in the Park (CAC/Lenoir Parks & Rec)

July 6-7..............Porch Sale of Original Art (no regular exhibit scheduled for July)

Aug. 31-Sept.28..“Bob Ebendorf and Friends” -  mixed media display

 

September 8.......“27th Annual Sculpture Celebration” featuring Blue Jeans Preview Party Friday evening before & competition Saturday 9am-4pm – features sculptors from several states east of the Mississippi River.

 

October 5-26 .....“36th Annual Caldwell Visual Artists Competition” featuring 2D and 3D artists from Caldwell County

 

November 2-21...“Woodn’t You Know?” wood turning art by Barry Russell and wood carvings by members of the Catawba Valley Woodcarvers

 

 

November 10 .....3rd Annual Art Around Caldwell: Gallery & Studio Tour

 

Nov. 30-Dec. 24.“Satie’s Holiday Show & Sale” featuring locally handcrafted items for holiday gift-giving

 

December 7........“5th Annual Taste of Christmas” at the Irish Rose Bed & Breakfast 7-9pm
