Recitation Competition Winners

Twenty-seven middle school students in grades 6-8 recited classic/famous poetry in the 8^th Annual Recitation Competition, sponsored by the Caldwell Arts Council and the Caldwell County School System.

  

Students were expected to memorize and recite a classic or famous poem two and a half to three minutes in length to participate in the countywide event.

2^nd Place         Joshua Kirby, 6^th Grade, Heritage Christian School

3^rd Place          Kyre Gleaton, 8^th Grade, Happy Valley School

4^th Place          Alana Hamby, 7^th Grade, Heritage Christian School

5^th Place          Maggie Auton, 6^th Grade, Oak Hill School
