Volunteer with us

Join the Caldwell Arts Council as a volunteer! Whether your contribution is lending your professional expertise, hanging an exhibit or cleaning the offices, your help will be greatly valued. Whether you are able to give 30 minutes or 30 hours a month, your time will make a difference. All ages are welcome!  Click here to see a copy of our current Volunteer Brochure.

We currently need volunteers to:

1. Help with mailings - Typically we have at least one mailing each month, and we could use your assistance putting mailing labels on these mailers!
2. Prepare food for openings - No one to cook for? We are looking for cooks to help provide hors d'oeuvres, finger foods & desserts for our opening receptions on First Fridays.
3. Clean the offices & gift shop  (Every now & then, a good dusting makes your arts council shine!  Sneezes provided free of charge, along with tissues.)
4. Maintain garden and grounds - CCC&TI Horticultural Department helps with maintaining our herb garden, and we want you to feel free to help yourself to the herbs any time you like!  If you could help with a little pruning here & there, or with mowing now and then, we'd be delighted to have your assistance!
5. Place and hang art for exhibits -- Looking for Grown-up social time during the day?  Come hang with us!  We are looking for people to help set up & hang paintings for our monthly exhibits - we'll train you and we'll provide a sitter to look after your children at the nearby Family Resource Center (a most wonderful indoor playground for ages 0-5!)
6. Answer the telephone (You know, sometimes we just need to focus on getting a project completed and it's so very helpful to just have someone answer the phone and take a message until we get the project done!) 
7. Host or hostess for openings (just keeping the hors d'oeuvres trays filled & making sure there's plenty of punch & other drinks on the table - it's not hard!  And we provide cute aprons...)
8. Help with organization and scheduling of activities (an extra mind and set of eyes is very helpful!)
9. Event volunteers (We have lots of events off-site, and it's great to have a volunteer or two (or more) to help with the workload.  We'll train you in all you need to know and be there to help too.)
